The cottage is located in the village of Malpas
which
consists of a small cluster of houses alongside the creek
with an excellent riverside pub, and yet only a few minutes
drive from the Cathedral City of Truro
It is here in Malpas, that the rivers Truro and Tresillian join creating it's stunning views. The village is still a port with the navigable waterways to Falmouth and the sea. There are popular regular boat trips between Malpas and Falmouth or St. Mawes throughout the summer. Less than 2 miles from Truro with its extensive facilities, Malpas still retains the tranquillity of no-through traffic. Tesco, Sainsbury and M&S are only a short distance away in Truro. Tesco and Sainsbury offer online ordering and delivery to Malpas. The village pub, the Heron Inn is featured in the Good Pub Guide. It is only two doors away and provides excellent food.
Nearby beaches and the Cornwall coastal path
offer
an abundance of opportunities to explore, or you can enjoy bird
watching, or simply relax.
